FAQ's
What kind of art do you specialize in?
Our store will sell Waldorf student-created shirts, prints of original pieces and original pieces of art. If you have something else you would like to sell contact us. However, we also suggest Etsy as a place to sell Waldorf related crafts.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes, we take all major credit cards and PayPal accounts.
I am a Waldorf student interested in selling my work on your site. What do I do?
If you are interested in having your work sold on our site, please send us an email at [email protected]. We’ll try to be in touch as soon as possible. If you are interested in selling a print or T-shirt, you must provide us (via email) with a high quality scan of the artwork to use for your shirt or print. We will then put it up on our site, on sale for a fixed price. When someone buys your art we will let you know.
Do I have to enter into an agreement to sell my work?
Yes, all people who are interested in selling artwork on our site must sign a simple licensing document. There are no hidden clauses or fine print; all it does is clarify what we intend to do with your art. The form can be found here!
Do I get to keep all the rights to my work?
Yes! You keep 100% of the rights to your artwork!
What do I do if I want to sell an original piece of art?
If you are interested in selling an original, please email us with a high-resolution photo of your piece and a suggested price. Once it sells, we will hold the money until the buyer lets us know they have received the original. We will then deposit the money into your pay-pal account and take our 20% brokerage fee.
What if I want to sell my piece as a print, with the option of selling it as an original?
If someone is interested in the original, we will receive an email. We will then connect you and the buyer to negotiate a price. Once the deal is completed we will take our 20% and hold the money until the buyer receives the artwork.
What if I want to sell something that is not a print, t-shirt or original?
Contact us at [email protected] and we will see what we can do. If you are selling something that can only be made once, like a doll or knit sweater, we suggest that you use Etsy.
Why, when I receive my merchandise, do I see a different price on the receipt than what I paid for?
For creating the merchandise for this store, we use a few different wholesale companies. This allows us to design and sell our products on an “on-demand” basis. However, the price you see is the wholesale price of the product, which does not include the artist’s compensation.
Is there a fee that I have to pay to sell my art?
We do not charge any upfront costs. We take a percentage of the profit when you sell a piece of art.
How will I know when a piece of mine is sold?
You will receive two emails. One will be an email from us telling you what piece was sold. A second email will be from PayPal sending money from our account into yours.
When will I receive the money?
All orders will be processed within 24 hours and the money will be sent to your PayPal account immediately.
How are the royalties divided up?
We take 100% of the profits of the first non-original piece you sell. You receive 70% of the profits of all further sales of your piece.
If we were selling a print, it would look like something like this:
Selling print for $25
Cost to make print - $10
Profit $15
Your profits are generated like this:
Cost to make print - selling print price * 75%
So (25-10)* .75 = Artist makes $10.50, and we make $4.50.
I want to do buy a large quantity of one print. Do you give discounts?
Yes we do! Contact us at and we will work something out.
I am unhappy with my work, and I would like to return it.
If you are unhappy with the work, let us know; we will give you an address and you can return it to us. We will then find a cool way to compensate you.
